Honeycomb Havoc is a 4-Player minigame found in Mario Party 2, Mario Party: The Top 100, and Mario Party Superstars. It is a variation of the classic game nim.
Gameplay[edit]
The players are standing in front of a giant tree that contains honeycombs, fruits, and (in the Mario Party 2 version only) coins. The player has to catch fruit in their basket by hitting a slow Dice Block and getting either a 1 or 2 each time. However, players have to avoid the honeycombs. When a player gets a honeycomb, some bees come out and chase the player out of the minigame. If a player hits a 2 on the Dice Block but gets a honeycomb first, only the honeycomb will count while the fruit or coin will remain on the tree for the next player. The last player standing wins.
In the Mini-Game Coaster, the human player has to avoid getting a honeycomb to win.
The minigame can be purchased from Woody for 150 coins.

Trivia[edit]
- In Mario Party 2 and Mario Party: The Top 100, there is a glitch that happens when a player rolls a 2 on the Dice Block. After the first fruit is in the basket, the character quickly turns right and then left again. This does not affect gameplay, but it was later fixed in Mario Party Superstars.
