Faces,[1] also referred to as masks,[2] are objects in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. They appear on Hoohoo Mountain only, on the side of the mountain, and consistently produce whirlwinds that Mario and Luigi can ride using Mario's Spin Jump. In some cases, faces start off deactivated, in which case they can be activated only if a nearby flaming statue is extinguished.
