New Donkers are Human characters found primarily in the New Donk City region of the Metro Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey. In comparison to most humans in the Mario franchise, they are fairly realistically-designed. Like how New Donk City is a reference to the real life location New York City, they are named after the residents of the state, New Yorkers. Most of the New Donkers, both male and female, wear gray business suits or dresses. The male New Donkers also wear ties and gray fedoras while the female New Donkers wear grey sunhats. The only New Donkers who do not wear gray attire are the members of Pauline's band, who all wear red attire and black fedoras with a white band around it, and the Crazy Cap employees. A few of them will also give Mario some Power Moons, such as a lonely New Donker found sitting on a bench. A single New Donker can also be found in the Sand Kingdom, where his car is stuck in ice[1], and another can be seen in the Moon Kingdom[2].
