- —Rankings Board, Super Mario Odyssey
The Rankings Board[1] is a hovering monitor in Super Mario Odyssey. When prompted, the player is connected to the Internet to see various rankings for the competitive minigames in Super Mario Odyssey: Koopa Freerunning, Jump-Rope Challenge, Beach Volleyball, RC Car Challenge, and Bound Bowl Grand Prix. They can view global records, their own personal rank, and their rank in relation to their registered friends on the Nintendo Switch system. The Rankings Board typically occurs near the green-shelled Roving Racer within kingdoms and appears only when Koopa Freerunning becomes available. It is dark green and has a crown-shaped top.
Similar to non-playable characters, the Rankings Board turns its monitor to follow Mario's position when he is near and spins when struck by Cappy. It cannot be engaged with when approached as a captured creature or enemy, but unlike characters and the Jaxi Stand, it does not react in any way.
