Template:MoreImages Template:Galaxybox Upside Dizzy Galaxy is a Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2, located in World 5. It is similar to the Rightside Down Galaxy. This galaxy features heavy use of shifts in gravity. The direction of the gravity in this level can change depending on the direction of the arrows that are seen in the background. A similar concept was seen in Bowser's Dark Matter Plant from Super Mario Galaxy. Paragoombas are frequent enemies in this galaxy.

After using a hidden Orange Warp Pipe, Mario will appear on this planet. It is shaped like a big bowl and is inhabited by a Gearmo. Mario must burn all the crates with the Fire Flower power up within a 20-second time limit to get a Power Star. The fact that it is inhabited by a Gearmo and requires burning down boxes to get a Hidden Star is similar to the Rightside Down Galaxy's Hidden Star.

Starting Planet

The main planet visited in this galaxy. Its outer part is shaped like a castle, and a Warp Pipe leads to the interior, where the gravity constantly changes. The inside of this planet is a series of corridors and obstacles which must be navigated whilst also watching for the change in gravity.

Missions

A Walk on the Weird Side

In this mission, Mario must navigate the inside of the castle to reach the Power star at the end. Along the way he will encounter Paragoombas, Swaphoppers, and electric fences.

The American name of the star is a pun on the song A Walk on the Wild Side.

Burning Upside Dizzy

Fire Mario breaking some crates with twelve seconds left in the Crate Burning mini-game.

Halfway through the inside of the castle, Mario will discover a Warp pipe. This leads to an area with a stack of crates, and a Fire Flower. Mario must use this to destroy the middle crates, and reveal an Orange warp pipe. Entering this takes him to an area similar to the hidden Gearmo area of Rightside Down Galaxy, but with more crates. Mario must use the Fire Flower power up to break them all in twenty seconds to get a Power Star. If he fails to break them all in 20 seconds, the crates will respawn and Mario will be given another chance to earn the Power Star.

Green Star 1

Mario near the Green Star 1

The first Green Star is found on the Castle Planet, about halfway up the course. It is hidden to the left in the blue region, near two moving pink regions. In order for the player to obtain the star, they must jump down the pink to fly upwards, and with the right time, they will land in the moving pink to continue their flight upwards, landing onto the star.

Green Star 2

The second Green Star is located just a little past the first green star in the Castle Planet. It is in the top corner of the blue region and is challenging to get. The player must have Mario climb on top of the platform that is above the moving pink region, and wait for the pink region to move to the far right to be in range of the green star. Now the player must simply wall jump or backflip to obtain the star.
