Isabelle is a dog character from Animal Crossing: New Leaf that helps the Villager carry out their duties as mayor.
History
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U
Isabelle appears in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U as an Assist Trophy. She tosses fruit at the player that summoned her, which will heal them when touched. Opponents can also be healed, but they must manually grab the fruit. If the player that summoned Isabelle is knocked out, she will hunch over with a saddened expression until they return.
Mario Kart 8
Isabelle will be making an appearance in Mario Kart 8 as a downloadable character in the DLC pack, Animal Crossing: New Leaf X Mario Kart 8, which will release in May 2015. The Villager from the Animal Crossing series will also be appearing as playable in the pack.[1]
