Template:Articleabout Template:Item-infobox The Double Cherry is an item debuting in the Wii U game Super Mario 3D World. These cherries are found floating just above the ground or inside ? Blocks.
When characters grab this item, a replica of them appears. The clones keep the original characters' state (for example, Fire Mario gets a clone), and moves identically to them. The clones can be used to activate certain switches and platforms. Though characters can have an unlimited number of clones, which is based only on how many Double Cherries they get, the clone disintegrates if harmed, and all doubles disappear when the player grabs the Goal Pole and awards the player with points. The players can also ground pound on other players to steal their double power.
