Peach Medallions are collectibles in Mario Kart World, appearing around the open world that the game takes place in, and are obtainable through the Free Roam mode. Currently, it is unknown what they can be used for. A counter of the collected Peach medallions appears on the map in-game, along with every P Switch, which activates missions, and ? Panel. The quantity of collectable Peach medallions is also unknown. The Peach Medallions resemble a normal coin, except much larger, with a side view of Princess Peach, and some extra detailing around the edges. In regards to the coin item present in several Mario Kart games, it does not have the same functionality as a speed boost, and is not obtainable through item boxes, or from the Yoshi's restaurant.
