Davide Garbolino is an Italian voice actor, dubbing director, and TV host. After being convinced by his piano teacher, he began working in television as a child actor and dubber and soon became popular dubbing numerous cartoon characters.[2]
Beside hosting the kid show Ciao Ciao in the '90s, he is famously known for giving his voice to Ash Ketchum for the whole duration of the Pokémon anime and Nobita Nobi in Doraemon since 2003. He also voiced Michelangelo in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, Plucky Duck in Tiny Toon Adventures and its reboot, the Robin characters in the Batman animated series, the adult Jimmy Cudo in Cased Closed (which won him an award in 2008 at the Gran Galà del Doppiaggio Romics DD),[1] adult Gohan in Dragon Ball, and, since 2007, Topo Gigio and Bugs Bunny. His video game-related works include Slippy Toad, Rusty Pete in the Ratchet & Clank franchise, Alex Blaze in both game and anime series of Inazuma Eleven, Knuckles in Sonic Underground, and Mugman in The Cuphead Show!
In the unaired Mediaset-directed dub of the Donkey Kong Country animated series, he voiced the Kritters and the Klap Traps (including Junior).[3]
