Head Count is one of Orbulon's microgames in WarioWare: D.I.Y. and reappears as one of 9-Volt's microgames in WarioWare Gold, where it is based on the Nintendo DS game Brain Age's training mode of the same name.

Gameplay

The point of the game is to count how many people are inside the house when the scene is over. The game starts off with people walking through the front door and falling through the chimney. While the people fall into the house, some will exit through the back door. The player needs to choose how many people are in the house, ranging from none to six people. If the player chooses the right number, the game is won. However, if the player chooses the wrong number or time runs out, the game ends in a loss.

WarioWare Gold

The buttons are removed, and the player must write a number instead.

  • 1st level difficulty: The people do not leave the house once entered.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Some people will leave the house after entering.
  • 3rd level difficulty: People will enter and leave simultaneously.
