"Stickerbush Symphony" (also known as "Brambles"[1] and "Stickerbrush Symphony"[2]) is a musical theme in the Donkey Kong Country series, first appearing in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest in the level Bramble Blast.
The theme was originally intended for water- or clouds-themed levels, but was repurposed due to the final game lacking those.[3] David Wise considers the official name to be "Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)", but also likes "Stickerbrush Symphony" and "Brambles".[3]

- ^ a b Wise, David. Well - officially it's "Stickerbush Symphony ( Bramble Blast )". I quite like Stickerbrush or Brambles. Originally it was an ambient track possibly for water or clouds - that almost didn't make it into the game. Fortunately, it eventually found life as a thorny juxtaposition.
