"Aquatic Ambiance"[1] is a theme composed by David Wise and is heard in many underwater levels in the Donkey Kong Country games. It first appears in Donkey Kong Country, where it can be heard in all underwater levels.

Donkey Kong Land
Donkey Kong Land features a heavily chiptune arrangement of "Aquatic Ambiance" due to the hardware limitations of the Game Boy. It plays in Reef Rampage and Nautilus Chase.
This arrangement is also included in the Game Boy Color port of Donkey Kong Country.
Donkey Kong Country series
Donkey Kong Country 3
In Donkey Kong Country 3 (the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!), an arrangement of "Aquatic Ambiance" is incorporated into the theme heard during the game's opening cutscene and title screen.

Donkey Kong Country Returns
Donkey Kong Country Returns features an arrangement of "Aquatic Ambiance," titled "Aquatic Ambiance Returns" in the music gallery, that plays while riding the whale in Blowhole Bound.
This arrangement is reused for the same purpose in Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze features five arrangements of "Aquatic Ambiance." The first arrangement, titled "Mangrove Cove Underwater" in the music menu, plays during the underwater section of Mangrove Cove.
A second arrangement, titled "Aquatic Ambiance Returns," plays in the deeper underwater section of Deep Keep, the entire underwater section of Current Capers, and the entirety of Shoal Atoll. This arrangement sounds closer to the original version of "Aquatic Ambiance." Though it shares a title with the arrangement from Donkey Kong Country Returns, it is a completely unique arrangement.
A third arrangement can be heard in the underwater section of Trunk Twister.
The fourth is a medley arrangement of "Aquatic Ambiance" and "Lockjaw's Saga" from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. It can be heard in the underwater sections of Irate Eight and Rockin' Relics.
A fifth arrangement plays in the underwater sections of Panicky Paddles.
All of these arrangements are reused for the same purposes in the game's Nintendo Switch port.
