Gongs are objects that appear in Hands-On Hall and Back to Hands-On Hall in Super Mario 3D World and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. They can be activated by rolling into them, using a Boomerang Flower to throw a boomerang at them, throwing a baseball at them, using a cat swipe or tail whip, or using the touchscreen or touch cursor. Each gong has two ropes holding it and has Bowser's emblem in the middle. When they are activated, they temporarily defeats the Blurkers surrounding it, though they soon respawn.
