Riverside Park is the third race course of the Mushroom Cup in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. It takes place in a jungle near a river. Its music is full of various animal noises. Lakeside Park functions as a more difficult counterpart to it, and its background music takes many cues from Riverside Park's.

Riverside Park reappears in Mario Kart Tour starting from the Animal Tour.

Peach attempts the shortcut across the river.

Course layout

After the first turn there is a straight path then the player come across the first crossing of the river. There is a spot on both sides of the river where there is a bridge. There are crash barrier squares that block some potential shortcuts. Shortly after the first crossing, the player actually goes over the river. There is a U-turn here and a shortcut (see "Shortcut" below). The player goes around a road branch in the river and goes around another U-turn, and from there the player goes straight and cross the river to the final stretch: a loop around where the player jumps over the course, as pictured below.

Shortcuts

  • After the very first U-turn, the player can use a mushroom and jump over the water from one dock to another.
  • Also, after the player jumps over the river, on the first U-turn, if they turn about 100 degrees and drive to the river, there is a narrow pathway across the branch.

GBA Riverside Park in Mario Kart Tour
The course in Mario Kart Tour

Riverside Park makes its classic course debut in Mario Kart Tour. It debucted alongside GCN DK Mountain in the Animal Tour. Here, the course has been completely redesigned; featuring elevation changes akin to GBA Boo Lake, and scenery changes, including a cave, more bridges, more ramps, and waterfalls. The whole course now has a yellow hue. The starting line is held up by two rocks wrapped in ivy and vines, and the course is much more mountainous than its Super Circuit version, with numerous boulders and rocks scattered across the course. The bridges throughout the course are now much higher compared to the rivers compared to before, and are also held up by support beams. In addition to trees similar in design to the ones in Super Circuit, there are now palm trees throughout the course too. The large U-bend at the beginning has been removed. Also, the ramp at the end has also been replaced with a waterfall where racers must drop off from.
