Gooma

Template:Character-infobox Gooma is Goombario and Goombaria's kind grandmother in the game Paper Mario. Her name is a portmanteau of "Goomba" and "grandma", something she actually notes upon first meeting Mario. Mario only needs to talk to her once throughout his entire adventure. She, along with the rest of the Goomba family, lives in Goomba Village. Whether Gooma is her grandchildren's maternal or paternal grandmother is unknown.
Gooma writes a letter to Goombario during the party's adventure, which the player can read at the Toad Town Post Office.
Tattle
- "She's my grandma, Gooma. I hope she lives forever! She's the greatest! When she starts telling old stories, she always says, "When I was young, I was very popular with the boys.""
