Bone Rattler
Template:Kart-infobox The Bone Rattler is one of four downloadable vehicle bodies in the Animal Crossing × Mario Kart 8 DLC pack, from Mario Kart 8. It is an ATV vehicle that's supposedly based on Dry Bowser, but unlike most ATVs, the Bone Rattler only has three wheels, more referencing a trike. Dry Bowser's company Undead Motors and its emblem can be spotted on the back portion of the vehicle, and the seat also has colors that reference Dry Bowser's shell.
In terms of its stats, the Bone Rattler shares its stats with the Tanooki Kart, which is available in the The Legend of Zelda × Mario Kart 8 DLC pack; it boosts weight and traction, at the expense of acceleration and handling, but the boosts and drops are less extreme when compared to the Steel Driver, Tri-Speeder, Badwagon, GLA, and Standard ATV. It shares the same engine sound with the Master Cycle, but with a slightly different exhaust noise.
A CPU Dry Bowser will sometimes use this vehicle during a race, often being equipped with the Monster tires.
In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it is now randomly unlocked by collecting coins.
