Badwagon
Template:Kart-infobox Badwagon is a default kart body that appears in Mario Kart 8. The kart body resembles a pink muscle car. Though muscle cars are typically built for speed, the Badwagon does not offer a ground speed boost (though it offers a water speed boost); it excels at weight and traction while acceleration and handling are lowered.
The back of the car is adorned with stereo speakers, tailfins, and neon lights, with a logo of Roy Koopa on the back. The stereo speakers and the lights animate to the beat of the background music, while they are idle in the beginning of the race and briefly when the final lap jingle plays. It shares its stats with the Tri-Speeder, the Steel Driver, the Standard ATV, and the GLA. Artwork of the kart also shows that it has 4-wheel steering, though it is not used in-game. It has a distinctive engine noise, reminiscent of drag-racing cars.
A CPU-controlled Peach will occasionally use this vehicle body, paired with the Standard tires.
