Lucky Cat Mario

Template:Form-infobox Lucky Cat Mario is a form of Cat Mario in Super Mario 3D World. The user transforms into this when a Ground Pound is performed after grabbing a Lucky Bell.

In this form, he is a golden Lucky Cat statue holding a coin. Luigi's Lucky Cat form is slightly different; he is raising his left paw instead of his right, unlike everyone else. While similar to Tanooki Mario's Statue form, Mario is invincible, rather than merely invulnerable and ignored by enemies; he also earns Coins while falling in this form. Mario cannot remain in this form indefinitely; he reverts to Cat Mario either if the player stops the ground pound, or its time limit expires. Lucky Cat Mario can defeat almost all normally invincible enemies, such as Fuzzies, Fuzzlers, and Rammerheads, and defeat enemies that usually take multiple hits in one hit. However, it cannot defeat Ka-Thunks, Big Ant Troopers, or Charvaarghs.
