Not to be confused with dropping block.
A Drop Block.

Drop Blocks[1] are objects in Wario World. These blocks are mostly found in the red diamond sublevels beneath wooden and steel trapdoors, always in midair, and resemble floating steel-blue anvils. When Wario steps on one, his weight causes it to descend slightly, pause, and fall quickly. If Wario is on the Drop Block when it falls, he may be forced to start the level over, particularly if he is inside a steel trapdoor's sublevel, which has no ground. The Drop Block returns to its starting position if Wario steps off it.
