- “Careful, Wario! All the cliffs and deep chasms around here are really, really, dangerous! If you fall, you'll land in Unithorn's Lair! Scary! You'll lose coins as long as you're in Unithorn's Lair, so if you fall in, you'd better hurry up and find the Escape Spring before you go broke!”
- —Spriteling, Wario World
Unithorn's Lair is a location in Wario World. Wario enters it upon falling into a pit.[1] He is attacked by a few Unithorns, which try to steal his coins.[2] The design and layout of Unithorn's Lair depends, but all variations contain poison that causes Wario to bounce around and lose coins. Later levels have variations with less safe footing and more water. Wario can escape from Unithorn's Lair and return to the overworld by destroying crates until he finds the one with the Escape Spring;[3] all of the other crates contain bombs.
