First appearance Wario World (2003)

Unithorns[1][2] are enemies in Wario World. They a light purple, semi-transparent, rhinoceros-like heads with a name that is a play on "unicorn" and "thorn". Unithorns only appear in Unithorn's Lair, where they try to bite Wario and steal his coins. Icons appear above the Unithorns' heads to indicate their moods: a note if is bites Wario; a sad face if he uncovers a bomb; an exclamation mark from being stunned by a bomb; and a question mark if Wario dodges its attack. A Unithorn is stunned not only by revealing a bomb but also when it explodes. Wario can escape the Unithorns and their lair by finding the crate with the Escape Spring and using it to exit.
