History
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
In Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its Nintendo Switch remake, Huhwhat, Whuhoh, Pleaseno, and Comeon are enemies that act like mimics. They resemble treasure boxes in the overworld and start a battle when Mario opens them with a jump.
Mario Hoops 3-on-3
In Mario Hoops 3-on-3, Mimics are items only in Bloocheep Sea. It tries to chomp the player who has the ball by chasing them around the course. Sometimes, Mimics instead spit out many Coins and 10 Coins upon being used.
Fortune Street
In Fortune Street, Mimics as they appear in the Dragon Quest series show up in the Slurpodrome minigame where they can take the place of a regular treasure chest. If a Slime encounters a Mimic, the Slime is knocked out of the race. A Mimic also appears on the right side of Castle Trodain.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Mimics also make occasional appearances in the downloadable Dragon Quest stage Yggdrasil's Altar in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, disguising themselves as the normal treasure chests found on the floating platforms. When attacked, they reveal themselves and lunge in front of them, dealing great damage. Afterwards, they wander about on the platform attacking any fighters within range, though they can be defeated if attacked enough, after which it leaves behind an item.
