Crazy Cap is a franchise of clothes and cap shops and company that appears in Super Mario Odyssey.

The Crazy Cap shop in Tostarena

Each shop is divided into two sections; the yellow sections sell items that the player can buy with global gold coins, while the purple sections require the player to spend purple regional coins. Their wares range from various outfits and hats to souvenir stickers and models; the shops also sell Life-Up Hearts and Power Moons, often on the yellow side.

The Crazy Cap brand originates in New Donk City of the Metro Kingdom; with the popularity of street performers, the old theater was no longer in much demand, and so was converted to the first and original Crazy Cap store. Since then, the stores have spread all over the world, and appear in most of the kingdoms. Crazy Cap stores will play their theme music on a loop, and can be heard in the overworld once approaching the store.

The employees of each Crazy Cap store are usually residents of the kingdoms where their branches are located. In the case of the Cascade Kingdom, Lost Kingdom, Bowser's Kingdom, and Moon Kingdom, there are no friendly residents, so the employees vary. The only kingdoms that do not have Crazy Cap stores are the Cloud Kingdom, Ruined Kingdom, Dark Side, and Darker Side.

Each shop sells a Power Moon for 100 gold coins, similar to how Mario earns a Power Star in Super Mario 64 and a Shine Sprite in Super Mario Sunshine for collecting 100 coins. This can initially only be done once per kingdom; after completing the game, the player can continue to purchase individual Power Moons from any shop for another 100 coins, or a set of ten for 1,000 coins.

The shop in the Sand Kingdom has an alcove that allows Mario to obtain a Power Moon from the back side. If Mario talks to the Tostarenans who run the shop this way, they will get spooked and tell Mario to use the main entrance in order to purchase their products.

The shop in the Seaside Kingdom is divided into two shops; both are on the backs of yellow and purple Dorries and move around the kingdom.

In the version 1.2.0 update for the game that includes Balloon World, many more outfits and hats were made available in the Crazy Cap stores, and can be purchased after the player has beaten the game; additional clothes are gradually made available as well. All the new outfits are marked as "Special" in the shops.

Many of the clothing sold at Crazy Cap were later added in Mario Kart Tour as variants of the original characters.
