Circuit Special is a kart body in Mario Kart 8. It resembles a Formula One car, similar to the Sprinter (B Dasher Mk. 2 in the PAL regions and Japan) from Mario Kart Wii. It offers a speed and weight boost, but it hinders in acceleration and especially traction; it shares its stats with the Sports Coupe and the Mach 8.

Varnish Types

The Circuit has four different varnish types.

The first varnish is blue with white trim. It has advertisements for Boomerang Brothers Airlines.

The second varnish type is green with white trim. It has advertisements for 1-Up Racing and Galaxy Airlines

The third varnish type is yellow and orange. It has signs for "Peach & Daisy" and "Princess Orange" on it.

The fourth varnish type is black with yellow and purple trim. It has signs for Bowser on it.
