Intermission

Additionally, disabling intermissions in Knockout Tour would theoretically disable the whole rally, no?)

An IntermissionTemplate:Conjecutral is a kind of track in Mario Kart World which connects two separate, often distant race courses via long stretches of road. They are the main roads driven on in the Grand Prix (where the first and second half of it serves as Section 1 and 2, with the 3rd section being the destination race course) and Knockout Tour and often feature obstacles such as cars, animals or various enemies like Goombas, Chargin' Chucks or Grrrols.

Intermissions span almost the entire map and take various forms, such as highways, mountain ranges, or railroad tracks. In Versus Mode, intermissions which do not appear in Grand Prix or Knockout Tour can be accessed, as well as disabled entirely[1].

Yoshi's drive-throughs appear most frequently on intermissions.
