A gold P Switch[1] is a rare type of P Switch introduced in Super Mario 3D World. When one is pressed, it will make a large quantity of coins appear. Only two are used in the game; they can be found in Conkdor Canyon and the Coin Express. In Conkdor Canyon, the Gold P Switch can be found inside a secret room accessed via a golden Pipe hidden on the roof of one of the structures, which can be reached with a Super Bell. When it is pressed here, it will make lots of coins shower into a nearby bottomless pit. In the Coin Express, one can be found inside one of the train cars alongside Captain Toad. Upon being pressed, it will make fifty coins shoot out of a nearby golden Pipe.
A gold P Switch appears in the Bowser's Fury campaign of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. It is located in a bonus room inside a secret golden Pipe found on the peak of Mount Magmeow, accessible with graffiti that Bowser Jr. can create there. When it is pressed here, eighty coins will appear and fall from the top of the room.
