Lucky Cat Cup
The Lucky Cat Cup is a cup that appears in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as part of the Booster Course Pass DLC. Like most cups in the DLC, it exclusively features classic courses. It is the second of two cups in the first wave, being released alongside the Golden Dash Cup, the second cup of the pass overall, and the fourteenth cup of the game overall. The emblem of the cup is the Lucky Bell from Super Mario 3D World, making the Lucky Cat Cup one of two cups in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to have a kind of bell as its emblem, alongside the Bell Cup. Excluding the Extra Cups in Mario Kart: Super Circuit and the cups in Mario Kart Tour, this is the first cup in the Mario Kart series to feature multiple classic courses from the same game in a single cup, as it features both Tour Tokyo Blur and Ninja Hideaway from Mario Kart Tour; notably, both of these courses are themed around Japan, matching the Japanese theme for the cup, a maneki-neko. The decorations on this cup's trophy are blue.

- Excluding Mario Kart DS where every GBA track is the third course in its cup, the Lucky Cat Cup is the only cup to have a course originally from Mario Kart: Super Circuit that is not the second course in its cup, as GBA Shy Guy Beach and GBA Bowser's Castle 3 are the second courses in Mario Kart Wii's Banana Cup and Leaf Cup, GBA Bowser's Castle 1 is the second course in Mario Kart 7's Shell Cup, and GBA Mario Circuit, GBA Cheese Land, GBA Ribbon Road, GBA Snow Land, GBA Boo Lake, and GBA Riverside Park are all the second courses of the Shell Cup, Crossing Cup, Bell Cup, Propeller Cup, Rock Cup, and Fruit Cup in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
