Yellow turnstile

The yellow pieces of the maze[1] are solid objects that appear only in the rotating maze challenge room in the Metro Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey. They consist of either three or four walls placed on top of a yellow platform in the shape of a cross. When Mario throws Cappy at the wall, the piece of the maze moves in the direction Cappy was launched from. Some pieces contain Moon Shards or Fire Piranha Plants. When the piece moves, Moon Shards and Fire Piranha Plants associated with that piece also move. In total, there are 6 pieces of the maze:
