Template:Form-infobox Giga Cat Mario is a form of Mario that only appears in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, albeit exclusively in the Bowser's Fury mode. It is a larger, more powerful form of Cat Mario and is only accessible after collecting at least five Cat Shines and unlocking a Giga Bell, which are located all over Lake Lapcat.

Giga Cat Mario's fur takes on a more radiant golden tint, with a lion mane and a tuff at the end of his tail, resembling those of a komainu. While Mario transforms into this state, he strikes the same pose that regular Cat Mario does in official artwork.

In stark contrast to other giant transformations such as Mega Mario, and in a similar vein to Big Mario, Mario is not invulnerable in this form, and he is in fact still able to take damage, being able to return to his Super and Small forms (though he stays giant).[1]

By completing the Bowser's Fury mode 100%, getting either the Super Bell or the Lucky Bell changes Cat Mario or Lucky Cat Mario's appearance to resemble Giga Cat Mario's (though the latter form retains its collar); although this change is only aesthetic and does not affect Mario's moveset in any way.[2]

Giga Cat Plessie
Giga Cat Plessie.

After getting three Giga Bells, Plessie too transforms into Giga Cat Plessie, which differs from Cat Plessie only in the overall size and not in the appearance.
