Badwagon
Template:Kart-infobox Badwagon is a default kart body that appears in Mario Kart 8. The kart body resembles a pink muscle car, similar to how the Wario Car from Mario Kart: Double Dash, Brute from Mario Kart DS, Mini Beast, Wild Wing, and Flame Flyer from Mario Kart Wii, and Bruiser from Mario Kart 7 resemble muscle cars. Though muscle cars are typically built for speed, the Badwagon does not offer a speed boost; it excels at weight and traction while acceleration and handling are lowered. The back of the car is adorned with stereo speakers, tailfins, and neon lights (much like the Wild Wing), with a logo of Roy Koopa on the back. The stereo speakers and the lights animate to the beat of the background music, while they are idle in the beginning of the race and briefly when the final lap jingle plays. It shares its stats with the Tri-Speeder, the Steel Driver, and the Standard ATV. Artwork of the kart shows that it has 4-wheel steering, though it is not used in-game.
