Super Mario series[edit]
New Super Mario Bros. 2[edit]
New Super Mario Bros. 2 provides a remix of the "Castle Theme" incorporating the "Paah" vocals, which weren't present in the original version. Additionally, a woodblock beat is added to the instrumental when Mario or Luigi are in their Raccoon/Fox forms, and a bell synth arpeggiator is added while the Gold Ring is active.

New Super Mario Bros. U[edit]
In New Super Mario Bros. U, vocalizations are added to the original "Castle Theme" whenevever a player holds onto a Baby Yoshi. This remix is reused for the same purpose in New Super Luigi U, New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U, and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe.
Super Mario Maker[edit]
Super Mario Maker features an arrangement of the "Castle Theme" using eight tracks that fade in and out randomly to create a dynamic mix. The arrangement is heard while editing New Super Mario Bros. U-style castle-themed courses in the Course Maker. Additionally, new percussion parts are added to the original instrumental whenever Mario rides a Yoshi, as this was impossible in the original games. Both arrangements are reused for the same purpose in Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS and Super Mario Maker 2.
