Egg Island is the Yoshis' second home after Yoshi's Island and the main setting of Yoshi's New Island. It is situated on a floating sea sphere.
When the stork drops Baby Mario and Baby Luigi once again, Baby Mario falls down and teams up with the native Yoshis to rescue Baby Luigi, who is held captive by Kamek now that Baby Bowser chooses the island to be his vacation home. When the team defeats Bowser and rescues Baby Luigi, the stork takes the babies back to their homes, as the Yoshis bid them farewell. The worlds are listed as follows:
- World 1: A grassy plain
- World 2: A dark forest
- World 3: A hot steaming jungle
- World 4: A dusty savanna
- World 5: A snowy hill
- World 6: A volcano
