Full name Claudio Santamaria Ferraro[1]
Born July 22, 1974[1] (age 50)
Super Mario–related role(s) Italian voice actor for Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Movie

Claudio Santamaria is an Italian actor and voice actor. He has played numerous roles in Italian movies and TV series, earning a David di Donatello for Best Actor for his role in They Call Me Jeeg in 2016.

As a voice actor, he had much fewer roles, the most famous of which are two iterations of Batman: Christian Bale's version in The Dark Knight trilogy (and the Batman Begins video game) and LEGO Batman in The LEGO Movie franchise.

Santamaria provided the Italian voice of Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Movie. He and Charles Martinet are the only ones listed in the animated credits in the Italian version of the movie.
