Mario 64 2[edit]

The image you added was taken from a fan wiki, and as the demo was never made publicly available, any content you'll find like logos and models are likely fan-made, which we don't cover on articles. Please verify that the image is official before uploading one next time.

Also, please use the "Show preview" button next to the "Save page" button when making edits like these so you can see what the final result looks like before saving it, otherwise it floods the recent changes and history pages with edits. This way you can fix any mistakes you made in one edit, or cancel the edit if you're not sure how to fix it. Help:Contents has some pages that would help (including Help:Gallery), and don't hesitate to ask around for assistance as well. Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Can you please provide reliable sources for those voice credits? Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Mario JC 04:28, November 29, 2021 (EST)

Kanya's German voice actor[edit]

Is there a reliable source for this or are you assuming from the sound of her voice? Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 17:31, October 22, 2023 (EDT)

Reminder[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced credits on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing.
If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it.

Also, please do not use wikis or other openly editable websites that don't cite sources themselves as references; these are not reliable. Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Mario JC 09:39, October 30, 2023 (EDT)

Birth dates also should be sourced. Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Mario JC 10:26, August 22, 2024 (EDT)

Uploading[edit]

If you want to add an image you found on a website, you need to upload it first on Special:Upload. The instructions at the top explain how to upload, fill out the summary, and add it to an article (Help:Image and Help:Gallery are also useful). Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Hello, Olofsson. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly use the {{aboutfile}} template. What you were doing looks like this, and it is an inconvenience for other users to fix up the template. It is simple to learn how to format it correctly. The pre-loaded syntax is shown below.

{{aboutfile
|1=Subject of the image
|2=Where you found the image
|3=Artist
|4=Describe edits, if any
|5=Other versions (use file link)
}}

Just replace the necessary parts with that corresponding information, and remove the entire line for the parameter(s) you don't use. A description of the image subject (parameter 1) should always be included, even if it's just a couple words. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. If you continue using {{aboutfile}} incorrectly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Hi there! When uploading images, make sure to fill out the "aboutfile" template properly. Yup lease remove any sections of the template you don't need (such as "other versions"). When linking to another website, make sure to add one bracket to each side of the URL (brackets look like this: [].

Hello, Olofsson. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must apply the proper license. The following are the most common:

When uploading, select the license from the drop-down menu below the summary text box. Don't tag a file with multiple copyright templates; choose the one that best fits the file.

Please consider the above information before uploading more files. If you continue uploading files without applying the correct license, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Also make sure to select the proper license for the image. The image you uploaded was a photo of a person, so "photo" is the correct option here.

One more thing - be sure to give files proper names. This is to ensure they won't be known as a string of numbers and letters. If you make a typo when naming a file, you can move it to the correct name to fix it. A wiki staff member such as myself can then delete the typo redirect. Thank you and keep contributing!

I was typing this when you replied to the above message, and I can help with that! To put a file on an article, put the name of the file in brackets and type in the size of the image, like this! [[File:Fumihiro Okabayashi.jpg|150px]] link:User:Sparks Sparks (talk) link:User:Sparks 14:32, July 2, 2024 (EDT)

Thank you for the help. Olofsson (talk) 16:22, July 2, 2024 (EDT)

Please remember to follow these reminders. Any "aboutfile" fields you're not using need to be removed, and a license should be added in the drop-down menu underneath the summary box (in this case, "Photo").

Also, thumbnail frames are not used in infoboxes. When adding an image, it just needs the size; about 200 pixels would be ideal (replace "thumb" with "200px"). Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Mario JC 22:17, September 1, 2024 (EDT)

You added a license correctly but again, remember to remove any fields from the summary you're not using (like this). Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Mario JC 01:19, September 3, 2024 (EDT)

Warning[edit]

Warning.svg This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (referencing unreliable sources) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site.
If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it.

Numerous times you've cited poor sources for voice actor-related information like simple one-off posts from unofficial profiles or random users with no reputational information (and that Twitter post you last cited for Sullivan was just deleted, which makes me suspicious that you attempted to fabricate a source, which is even worse). Please use your best judgement in assessing that the sources you're adding are reliable and accurate next time; you shouldn't just take a webpage off the Internet just because it mentions a piece of information that needs citing on the wiki without checking its reputation and whether it's trustworthy or not. The "article" you cited a couple months back for Subaru Kimura doing the Mario Rap is another example: the website didn't specialise in voice acting and had a number of suspicious (and inappropriate) ads, which should have been a dead giveaway that it's not reliable. If you can't determine if a source is reliable or not, then it's best you don't cite it or add the information to begin with. Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Lastwarn.svg This is your last warning. The next time you break the rules in any way, you will be blocked from editing the Super Mario Wiki.
