Lunar Colony is a battle course that appears as one of the new maps in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. As its name implies, it takes place in space on the Moon, and resembles Rainbow Road in terms of futuristic design and crowds. Similar to Mute City, Big Blue, Template:Classic-link, Sky-High Sundae, and Template:Classic-link, the entire course takes place in anti-gravity. The course is divided into two parts: the moon and the colony, with the moon taking up a majority of the course. On the moon, gravity is low, and players can trick off the craters and fly far, similar to the moon section of Template:Classic-link. On the colony section players can bump into Spin Boost Pillars to get a boost.
