The Shiverian Elder is an elderly, race-loving Shiverian that appears in Super Mario Odyssey.
When Mario first arrives at the Snowline Circuit the Shiverian Elder states that the Bound Bowl Grand Prix cannot start without one more Shiverian Racer. Mario is then able to reach the dark room to his upper-left, where one lonely Shiverian resides, who can be captured. Capturing the Shiverian and talking to the Shiverian Elder lets Mario enter the race as the Shiverian.
According to the Snow Kingdom's brochure, the Shiverian Elder is the only person allowed to make the Frost-Frosted Cake.
