Tracey West (born October 1, 1965) is a children’s book author raised in New Jersey, where she studied English and Journalism at Rutgers University. She has written officially licensed books based on television cartoon shows and video game series, including the Pokémon anime. She wrote two titles for the Nintendo Heroes series, which include the The Legend of Zelda book, Link and the Portal of Doom, and her only Mario series entry, Mario and the Incredible Rescue.
