Anya-Josephine Marie Taylor-Joy (born April 16, 1996, in Miami, Florida, United States, and raised in Argentina and England) is an actress known for her starring roles in the horror films The Witch and Split, the comedy-drama film Emma, and the Netflix miniseries The Queen's Gambit, the last for which she received several accolades, including a Golden Globe Award and a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award.
In a Nintendo Direct broadcasted on September 23, 2021, it was announced that Taylor-Joy would voice Peach in the Mario film co-produced by Illumination.[1]
