The Shiverian Elder is an elderly, race-loving Shiverian that appears in Super Mario Odyssey.
When Mario first arrives at the Snowline Circuit the Shiverian Elder states that the Bound Bowl Grand Prix cannot start without one more Shiverian Racer. Mario is then able to Capture a Shiverian in the dark room to his upper-left, where one lonely Shiverian resides. Capturing the Shiverian and talking to the Shiverian Elder lets Mario enter the race as the Shiverian.
