Template:Levelbox Fort Flaptrap is an island located on Lake Lapcat, the main location of the Bowser's Fury campaign of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. It is one of the few islands that surrounds the Lakeside Giga Bell. The island features a castle-like building and Red-Blue Panels, some of which lead to pits of lava.

Cat Shines

  • Bully the Cat Bullies: Obtained by knocking all of the Cat Bullies on top of the tower into the lava pit by using the open spaces created by the Red-Blue Panels.
  • Blue Coin Bustle: A P-Switch can be found in front of the entrance gate to the the island. Once its activated, Mario must collect all of the Blue Coins before they disappear.
  • Show's Over, Cat Magikoopas: Mario must defeat all the Cat Magikoopas to receive the Cat Shine.
  • Five Cat Shine Shards: Obtained by collecting the five Cat Shine Shards laying around the island.
  • Blast the Fury Blocks: Fury Bowser must destroy the Fury Blocks to receive the shine.

Cat Shine Shard locations

  • Found on one of the Red-Blue Panels in front of the building.
  • Found behind the lighthouse.
  • Found atop a tree near some Fury Blocks.
  • Found hidden behind some trees.
  • Found inside an alcove, which can be entered by destroying a brick block on the side of the building as Cat Mario.
