The Teddy Buggy is an unlockable ATV body that appears in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It is one of the four ATVs available in the game, with the other three being the Standard ATV, the Wild Wiggler, and the Bone Rattler. Its stats are identical to the Standard Kart, Cat Cruiser, Prancer, Sneeker, The Duke, and the 300 SL Roadster, meaning it does not grant nor decrease any stats. is the most feminine ATV, and isn't used by any male computer-controlled characters. When in anti-gravity mode, the legs turn sideways alongside the wheels equipped with the ATV.
The 150cc staff ghost for Sweet Sweet Canyon uses Baby Peach on the Teddy Buggy with the Wood tires. The 150cc staff ghost for GBA Ribbon Road uses the female Villager on the Teddy Buggy with the Button tires.
In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, CPU Baby Peach is often seen using this body with the Wood tires, while a CPU-controlled female Villager or Toadette can be seen using this ATV with the Button tires instead. Additionally, the Teddy Buggy now instead shares its stats with the Cat Cruiser, Comet and Yoshi Bike. The 200cc staff ghost Baby Rosalina rides this ATV in Baby Park.
