Template:Kart-infobox The Inkstriker is one of the three additional vehicle bodies in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe not present in the original game. It is one of the two ATVs based on the Splatoon series, the other being the Splat Buggy. The vehicle is named and based on the Inkstrike weapon from the Splatoon series. It has two tanks of ink at the back, and features unique exhaust pipes that spray ink when getting a speed boost. It can be unlocked by collecting coins.
The Inkstriker shares its stats with the Sports Coupe and the Mach 8 karts. It boosts weight and traction, while reducing the acceleration and handling stats.
It shares the same engine sound with the Landship. Similar to the Blue Falcon, when boosting using a Mushroom or driving through a Boost Pad, a small explosion sound can be heard.
