The Biddybuggy, known as the Buggybud in Europe and Australia, is a starter kart body part appearing in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that resembles a Para-Biddybud. It changes color depending on which character is using it, however, there are only 5 color schemes: pink, red, blue, green, and yellow. It offers a large acceleration and a handling boost at the cost of hampering speed, weight, and traction. It shares its stats with the Landship and Mr. Scooty. When idling, its engine sound is unique, but when accelerating, it has a slightly higher pitched version of that of the Standard Kart, Pipe Frame, Teddy Buggy, Sneeker, Gold Standard and Wild Wiggler. The CPU-controlled baby characters and Lakitu will occasionally use this body, paired with the Standard tires, though Lakitu uses the Monster tires with it.
The Biddybuggy appears in the scenery of GBA Ribbon Road, along with the Teddy Buggy and Standard Kart. In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe it must now be unlocked by collecting coins. A CPU Ludwig is also seen occasionally using this body during races
