Snowball Park, otherwise known as World 3-1, is the first course of World 3 in Super Mario 3D World. This level consists mostly of snow and ice terrain. Since it is the first level of the world, there are no unlocking criteria besides unlocking the world itself. This is one of the only two levels in the game, the other being Ty-Foo Flurries, to feature the Ice Skate that can be stolen from Goombas. This is also the second level to feature the Super Leaf, and the first where the player can find it in a Question Block.

Layout

The level starts in a snowy area with some Snow Pokeys nearby. After avoiding some more Snow Pokeys, a squadron of Para-Biddybuds, and a Goomba in an Ice Skate which the player can choose to ride in, they reach the Checkpoint Flag. An icy area with more Goombas in Ice Skates follows, followed by some more enemies and icy walkways. The player can now enter a nearby pipe in order to get to an area containing some trees and the Goal Pole.
