City Tripper is a bike body that is included in the Animal Crossing × Mario Kart 8 downloadable content pack for Mario Kart 8. It is a scooter that resembles a classic Vespa, and it also looks similar to the Sugarscoot from Mario Kart Wii. The character's emblem is found on the front left of the scooter, as well as on a small zipper on the rear of the vehicle. The City Tripper offers a small acceleration boost and a large handling boost at the cost of weight and traction. It shares its stats with Pipe Frame, Wild Wiggler, Standard Bike, W 25 Silver Arrow, Varmint, and Flame Rider.
A CPU Female Villager and Isabelle will use the bike on occasion with the Leaf Tires and Paper Glider.

- The City Tripper is the only vehicle so far to have each of a Mii's colors, and no additional colors.
- The white and purple City Trippers are the only City Trippers so far to not have a Mii in an amiibo suit use it.
- Oddly, Mario and Baby Mario's City Trippers are white, while a Mii using the Mario amiibo suit's City Tripper is red.
- Similarly, Yoshi's City Tripper is light green, but the Yoshi amiibo suit's color is green.
- The red City Tripper is the only City Tripper to not have a pattern or design on it.
- The City Tripper is a furniture item in Animal Crossing: Lew Leaf update "Welcome amiibo" and called the Isabelle Scooter. It can be purchased from Isabelle's RV at the Campground.
