Chris Sutherland is a former employee of Rareware. Sutherland was the lead programmer of the first two Donkey Kong Country and provided voice clips for several of Rare's games.
Sutherland, along with several other Rare alumnis, subsequently left Rare to found Playtonic Games, which successfully crowdfunded Yooka-Laylee on May 1 2015.
