Template:World 2-A An Enemy Blockade is a type of course introduced in Super Mario 3D World. They are found in the first seven worlds of the game. Similar to the Enemy Courses of New Super Mario Bros. Wii and New Super Mario Bros. U, the only objective of these courses is to defeat the enemies to clear it. Unlike the previous games however, these courses must be completed to progress through the world, occur most of the time in small Fortress-like rooms decorated with coats of arms with a Bowser emblem, and will always grant a Green Star in the end.

World 1

Chargin' Chuck Blockade

Template:Levelbox Chargin' Chuck Blockade, otherwise known as World 1-A, is the Enemy Blockade of World 1. The course consists of two Chargin' Chucks in a yellow caged room.

World 2

Big Galoomba Blockade

Template:Levelbox Big Galoomba Blockade, otherwise known as World 2-A, is the Enemy Blockade of World 2. The course takes place on a small piece of rock surrounded by lava, and the enemies in this course are three Big Galoombas.

World 3

Magikoopa Blockade

Template:Levelbox Magikoopa Blockade (known as Kamek Blockade in Europe), also known as World 3-A, is the Enemy Blockade of World 3. The course takes place in a red caged room with raised platforms in two corners, and the enemies here are three Magikoopas.

World 4

Brolder Blockade

Template:Levelbox Brolder Blockade, also known as World 4-A, is the first Enemy Blockade of World 4. The course takes place on rock platform surrounded by lava. The enemies present are four Brolders, of which the first one has to be defeated for the remaining three to appear.

Fire Bros. Hideout #1

Template:Levelbox Fire Bros. Hideout #1, also known as World 4-B, is the second Enemy Blockade of World 4. The Blockade can be accessed by using the Warp Pipe near Spike's Lost City. Unlike the other Enemy Blockades, the Fire Bros. Hideouts do not need to be completed to proceed, and the time limit is 100 seconds. The course takes place in a blue caged room with raised platforms in two corners, and the enemies are three Fire Bros. Beating in this level will gain access to a Sprixie House.

World 5

Chargin' Chuck Blockade Is Back

Template:Levelbox Chargin' Chuck Blockade Is Back, also known as World 5-A, is the first Enemy Blockade of World 5. Similarly to Chargin' Chuck Blockade, it is in a small caged room, but contains five Chargin' Chucks.

Fire Bros. Hideout #2

Template:Levelbox Fire Bros. Hideout #2, also known as World 5-B, is the second Enemy Blockade of World 5 and the second Fire Bros. Hideout. The Blockade can be accessed via a Warp Pipe near Bob-ombs Below. The arena is similar to Big Galoomba Blockade, but contains one Fire Bro on a Goomba Tower and stone platforms which alternate between rising and lowering.

World 6

Prince Bully Blockade

Template:Levelbox Prince Bully Blockade, also known as World 6-A, is the first Enemy Blockade of World 6. It is the first Enemy Blockade to have an enemy exclusive to this type of course, Prince Bully. The arena is a small caged room with checkered floor and Clear Pipes on walls that must used to fight Prince Bully.

Fire Bros. Hideout #3

Template:Levelbox Fire Bros. Hideout #3, also known as World 6-B, is the second Enemy Blockade of World 6 and the third Fire Bros. Hideout overall. It is accessible from the beginning of the world, hidden as a small patch of grass. The arena is similar to Hideout 1, but the enemies present are two Hammer Bros., two Boomerang Bros., and one Fire Bro.

World Castle

Brolder Blockade Is Back

Template:Levelbox Brolder Blockade Is Back, also known as World Castle-A, is the first Enemy Blockade of World Castle. The arena is similar to Lava Rock Lair, and the enemies include Boss Brolder, Splorches and other Brolders.

Prince Bully Blockade Is Back

Template:Levelbox Prince Bully Blockade Is Back, also known as World Castle-B, is the second Enemy Blockade of World Castle. The arena is similar to the previous Prince Bully Blockade, but Prince Bully's shoes and feathers are blue and he shoots blue Fireballs in increasing numbers.

Fire Bros. Hideout #4

Template:Levelbox Fire Bros. Hideout #4, also known as World Castle-C, is the final Enemy Blockade of World Castle, and overall the last Blockade level in the game. The arena is similar to the Hideouts 1 and 3, but the back of the room is raised and it contains seven Fire Bros. to battle.
