Animal Crossing × Mario Kart 8 (called Animal Crossing: New Leaf × Mario Kart 8 up to November 13, 2014) is one of the upcoming downloadable course packs, along with The Legend of Zelda × Mario Kart 8, set to be included in the game Mario Kart 8. Originally scheduled for release in May 2015, it was later pushed ahead to an April 23, 2015 release.[1]
Features
Like the other pack, the Animal Crossing × Mario Kart 8 pack contains three new characters, four new vehicles, and two new cups of four tracks each.
Characters
Note: The stats of these characters are unknown.
- Villager - The playable character from the Animal Crossing series, based on the Animal Crossing: New Leaf appearance. Comes in male and female choices.
- Isabelle - A non-playable character from Animal Crossing: New Leaf that helps the players in their role.
- Dry Bowser - The skeleton version of Bowser, first playable in Mario Kart Wii.

Bonus content
If both packs are purchased, either separately or as a bundle, the player will instantly receive eight new color swaps for both Yoshi and Shy Guy. These color changes do not appear as computer racers. The colors included are below:
