When obtained, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, Bowser, or Rosalina will transform into their cat form, which allows them to run up walls, slide into enemies, attack in midair, and climb up Goal Poles. There is also another power up called the Lucky Bell which turns Mario again into a cat, but when he ground pounds under a certain condition, bonus coins will appear.
