An Enemy Blockade is a type of course introduced in Super Mario 3D World. Similar to Super Mario Bros. 3, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and New Super Mario Bros. U, the only objective of these courses is to defeat the enemies there to clear it. Unlike the previous games however, these courses must be completed to progress through the world, and will always grant a Green Star in the end.
Chargin' Chuck Blockade
Chargin' Chuck Blockade, otherwise known as World 1-A, is the Enemy Blockade of World 1. The course consists of two Chargin' Chucks in a brown caged room with Bowser flags. The two Chargin' Chucks must be defeated to collect the Green Star.
Big Galoomba Blockade
Big Galoomba Blockade, otherwise known as World 2-A, is the Enemy Blockade of World 2. It shares a similar aesthetic to the World 1 Blockade, but the enemies in this course are three Big Galoombas on a lava stage. They must be defeated to collect the Green Star.
